About the Job

Brooke is a bright, competitive, determined, often manipulative, and talented young actor desperate to further her career in order to prove to her demanding mother that Brooke made the right decision to pursue acting against her mother' wishes. In the past, Brooke has had opportunities to audition for great roles but unknowingly sabotaged herself with her rudeness and manipulative scheming. As an alumna of the improv theatre putting on the contest in association with Artisanal Content, Brooke is well aware of the contest and intends to do all she can, both on-stage and off-stage, in order to put herself in the best possible position to win, including using her charm to influence Justin and some of the judges in her favor. Brooke immediately recognizes Hailey at the contest registration and dislikes Hailey due to Brooke's jealousy of Hailey's natural acting talent as well as Hailey's being selected for a role over Brooke in the past. As Brooke does what she can to derail Hailey's chances at the contest, Brooke cannot deny that she admires Hailey's acting and Brooke cannot resist enjoying the fun of acting in scenes with Hailey and watching Hailey perform. In the end, Brooke learns valuable lessons about managing her own competitiveness and focusing on being a constructive member of a team instead of only promoting herself.
