About the Job
A strange and metaphysical apparition, the Blue Man has no memory of who (or what) he is and no understanding of his place in the world, and the only way in which he feels he can compensate for his profound and global ignorance is by scaring Jonathan out of his wits with a pair of gardening shears. In physical appearance, he is tall and slender, and radiates a kind of manic energy.
Actors for this role should be comfortable wearing only an adult nappy and blue body paint!
