About the Job

Early 19th-century German/Bavarian male, 30–50, authoritative and composed. Recreation role for a historical docuseries (Expedition Files – Discovery Channel, HBO MAX).* Portrays the Nuremberg police officer who first questions Kaspar Hauser after he is brought in by a local shoemaker. A figure of rational authority in a time of superstition — skeptical yet compassionate. Must show command and curiosity through subtle expression; limited or no dialogue. Appearance: Fair to medium complexion, average or sturdy build. Hair: short or neatly kept, brown or dark blond. Facial hair: light mustache or trimmed sideburns optional. Performance tone: calm, professional, inquisitive; steady presence that contrasts Kaspar’s fragility.
