We’re seeking a performer comfortable portraying a barber for a live brand activation in NYC. This is part of a larger, action-driven installation featuring different performers. In this segment, the performer will give our main actor a classic shave — applying hot towels, lathering shaving cream, and miming a shave using a prop (non-functional) razor. The performance is mostly non-verbal, with room for light, on-the-spot improv or interaction depending on the moment. Familiarity with basic shaving technique and comfort performing publicly are important; professional experience is a plus. The piece will take place in front of a live audience and be filmed/livestreamed as part of the event. All props and materials will be provided on site.
