A perpetual stoner and social media addict who keeps multiple vape pens and backup drives around her neck and prides herself on keeping her finger on the pulse of youth culture, Ashley sees this family dinner as an opportunity to see her beloved cousins Mel and Ben (while trying to keep Mel from noticing that she brought her small dog over), to carefully avoid their brother Luke, and to chat up Mel's financial-advisor boyfriend about possible career opportunities.
