Tiffany Company Casting is seeking a theatrical actor to portray FRENCH CHEF at the Family Dinner for a luxury live immersive event blending theatrical performance and experimental storytelling
For this role, we'd love a real French Chef, however, we are open to THEATRICAL FRENCH ACTORS living in Los Angeles.
Talent must speak FLUENT FRENCH, as they will speak both English & French at the event with unsuspecting guests.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:
He or she will play the central character in the second part of the evening. The Chef arrives at the house to bring a French spirit to the party. He'll be joined by his brigade — a mix of real and fake waiters.Can be an actor coming from France - for reference: Manuel Guillot (pictured as a reference) Or a French actor living in L.A.
Character qualities: warm, good natured and a little eccentric. Bossy but in a good way. Likes details and disciplined. Can elaborate or talk endlessly about food and “service à la française”.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Comfortable experience with live immersive theater
- A French Chef is a plus, but not required
– French language fluency is a must and is required for this role (please indicate in your submission that you speak French)
GENERAL MANNER/ NARRATIVE:
• Top Tier Improvisation skills
• Be able to interact with the public / guests in a natural way
• Lighthearted and good at using humor: we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
• Staying graceful in all circumstances, Warm & Cheerful
