Synopsis:

Martha has made up her mind. Armed with a toaster and a self-help podcast, she plans to end her life. But her resolve is repeatedly interrupted by a series of intrusions—a boyfriend with an exhaust pipe, a delivery driver with a box cutter, and her mother’s voicemail mentioning she found a rope, but it was too big. As guidance piles up, it only reinforces her decision.

Dark absurd comedy. Dr. Bliss is a podcast host whose voice runs throughout the film. Calm, warm, and reassuring , she is a trusted guide. Reference: elderly narrator, Kim, in Edward Scissorhands. We’re looking for a calm, clear, and confident voice, reassuring and composed. We're looking for a voice with a textured, slightly worn, raspy tone, as if it’s lived a long time.
