We're looking for someone who sounds like a person, not a voiceover. The read is addressed to the viewer, and it's telling them who they are. The tone underneath every line is admiration - this person is doing something genuinely impressive, and the narrator has noticed. It opens kinda tongue-and-cheek, praising and building our hero up to be bigger than life. Then the antagonist arrives, and it tightens into something drier and potentially exasperated. Then we introduce the product as the resolution, and it becomes more serious and full of hope. Self-aware, intelligent, conversational. Sure of itself without sounding corporate.
