Norma’s Daughter (25-35)
About the Job
Norma's adult daughter and Rosa's granddaughter. She appears at the end of the film, representing the next generation of the family and completing the lineage at the heart of the story: Rosa → Norma → Norma's Daughter. Although her screen time is limited, her presence carries significant emotional weight. She should immediately feel connected to both Norma and Rosa—not only through physical resemblance, but through the warmth, familiarity and quiet intimacy of a daughter caring for her own mother. The performance should be understated and natural. She is not entering the story to create another dramatic moment; rather, her presence allows the audience to recognize that the love Rosa struggled so desperately to remember has continued into another generation. Looking for: An actress with a warm, grounded and emotionally intelligent screen presence. Naturalistic performance is essential. She should feel completely believable as Adult Norma's daughter and, by extension, Rosa's granddaughter. Because the role appears late in the film, the actress needs to establish a believable family relationship almost immediately without requiring significant exposition.
