Subject 37
About the Job
Subject 37 is a psychiatric patient initially seen rocking, muttering, and scratching at invisible bugs. At precisely 3:17 p.m., her entire demeanor changes. She becomes eerily calm, focused, and lucid, warning Emily that the hospital is not real and that everyone inside is being watched. Moments later, she violently returns to a frightened and disoriented state. The role offers a concentrated but memorable performance opportunity. The actor must execute an immediate transformation between physical instability, unsettling clarity, and explosive panic.
