This Make a Wish on a short film was written by a 14yo girl from Clarksville, MD. She has written a poetic script and is collaborating with a professional team to produce this short film that she will help direct. The focus is on visual storytelling and emotional expression. The film is about learning to let go and rest and finding your identity in what is real. The film follows, Candace, as she moves through her days on autopilot. It isn't until she is stripped of her phone, her schedule, and her routines that she's forced to actually stop and feel the world around her again. That stillness leads her somewhere unexpected.
