About the Job
Seeking a charismatic, globally minded host to lead an episode of an international travel documentary exploring Chicago through fresh eyes. The role is written as someone curious, observant, emotionally present, and eager to connect with its architecture, culture, history, and people of Chicago. Requirements: * Fluent English with an authentic, identifiable foreign accent (essential). * Strong, natural on-camera presence with genuine curiosity and warmth. * Comfortable engaging with locals and reacting authentically throughout the journey. * Must have no fear of heights and be comfortable filming aboard a helicopter. * Must be comfortable filming on boats and around water. Water safety protocols will be in place. * Must be physically comfortable walking and filming throughout the city. Potential filming locations include Chicago’s iconic architectural boat tour, the Chicago Architecture Center, Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, Cindy’s Rooftop, Millennium Park, Aqua Tower, the Art Institute of Chicago, the John Hancock Center, Merchandise Mart, the Tribune Building, the Obama Presidential Center area, and aerial helicopter sequences showcasing the city’s skyline.
