About the Job
26, Arab, Black, or Asian, he/him, earnest and nerdy exterior covering up a deeply resilient interior. A fellow ghost hunter the band meets on the road. Jason lived a totally normal suburban kid life until his family was in a car crash–his parents died instantly and those were the first spirits he ever saw. When he was placed with Watts in foster care, he learned more about the ghost world. Jason isn’t sure that ghost hunting is what he wants to do forever (he’s currently substitute teaching to pay rent), but it’s given him purpose in an otherwise directionless life. He approaches ghost hunting with the earnest ambition of a young person in a fast-moving world–he has gadgets galore, and is always trying to convince the more traditional Watts to incorporate technology into the public service they’re providing. Jason was raised Muslim but is still figuring out his own faith. All actors who identify with he/him pronouns are encouraged to audition.
