Eleanor
About the Job
Eleanor passed away from breast cancer when her youngest granddaughter, Margot, was still a baby. Her resilience and wildness remains a profound source of emotional strength and identity for both her daughter, Jessica, and her granddaughter, Tori. Eleanor’s character represents the ways in which both trauma and healing can be passed down from generation to generation: In this case, the trauma of being dependent on men as well as the healing power of embodying wildness and relational vulnerability. The actor must be comfortable filming under water and be able to swim.
