Project Notes

This is a high-energy, comedic spec commercial blending sports drama visual style with absurdist humor (think Raging Bull lighting meets a fighting video game). Tone is deadpan and over-the-top, played completely straight by the performers. Wardrobe for Axel: boxing trunks and headband (provided). Performers should come in ready to move, comfortable being shirtless on camera. Mob Fish performers should expect a full day in costume, including choreographed "fight" beats and falls. Costumes are warm and limit visibility, so stamina and comfort with restricted movement is a must. This is a passion/spec project intended for reel and portfolio use. Great opportunity for performers looking to build out physical comedy and commercial reel footage. Submissions should include reel/photos showing physicality and comedic timing where possible. Availability required: Tuesday, June 30: 12:15 PM - 6:45 PM (Rehearsal/Camera Blocking, Burbank) Thursday, July 2: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Shoot Day, Downtown Los Angeles)
