About the Job
A rough-around-the-edges roadside cook, pretty much over it — potentially drowning in debt. He takes pride in exactly one thing — his burger — and ends up trading his whole collapsing life on Earth for a seat on an alien ship. Rough around the edges, working-class, a distinct regional voice, fast improv instincts, comfortable carrying profanity and a sincere/sad turn at the end. Big feelings right at the surface. This is ideally a personality role, not a disappear-into-it role. We're looking for a comedy actor / comedian / improviser / comedic creator with a strong, distinctive working-class voice, and we lean into their natural cadence and bits.
