Music Superfan: Song Trivia Contestant (18-40)
Casting Music Superfans For Youtube Trivia
About the Job
We're casting music superfans for Big Brain, a YouTube song-trivia showdown for the people who actually know things. You're the friend who names the song in two notes. You ID the artist from one photo, finish the lyric before the second line, and know Eminem is Marshall Mathers. You've got an aux-cord reputation to defend and a hill you'll die on about the greatest album of all time. 10 music diehards. Head-to-head song trivia. Single elimination. Winner walks away with $250 cash. WHAT WE WANT: Big energy, big reactions, bigger opinions. The kind of person who'd argue their favorite one-hit wonder is a masterpiece and back it up with a TED talk. Every era counts, from Motown to Megan, classic rock to current rap, so whether you grew up on vinyl or TikTok, if you know your music, we want you. Deep-cut knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement, but if you're the one who corrects people on who actually wrote the song, we want to hear from you. THE DETAILS: - Half-day shoot in Los Angeles - 10 contestants per episode, single-elimination trivia format - $250 cash prize to the winner - Snacks and water provided on set, plus on-camera credit - Must be 18+ and able to get yourself to set (no travel reimbursement) HEADS UP: This is unpaid outside of the $250 prize. You're playing for the cash, snacks on set, a credit, and the right to say you out-sang nine other people on camera. If that doesn't work for you, no hard feelings, please don't submit. TO APPLY: Send a recent photo (required) and a 30 to 60 second selfie video (strongly encouraged) telling us your most controversial music take or why you'd destroy nine other people in song trivia. Phone quality is fine. We want personality, not production. IMPORTANT: Please include your email and phone number so we can reach out to you!
