A PLAGUE UPON THEBES is an experimental surreal short film that explores curses, madness, modern myth, and partial temporal lobe epilepsy through convoluted visions and sequences. <Flashes of baroque images and violence> Anyway, in this film, we follow Cassie <Cassandra>, who leads a picturesque life, until her existence is turned upside down by visions. Of violence. A blossoming romance is ruined by intrusive thoughts. Spelled for failure. <The thing about telling the future is no one believes you.> She struggles to learn what is plaguing her and how to stop it, before these visions drive her fully mad.
