Sales Manager

About the Job

Sales Manager (Male- 40’s-60’s) is a grizzled veteran in the car dealership world and unfazed by most things in life. He has little patience, is fairly curt, jaded and a bit worn around the edges. He’s not mean, but definitely not warm, most likely because he’s never really felt love. Quick and to the point is how he likes to interface with other humans. Nobody would mistake him for a people person and he’s generally expressionless. He lives in a one bedroom, non- descriptive apartment and because of his OCD and his life-long bachelorhood prefers things his way. In his spare time he watches boxing, feeds pigeons, and reads obscure war books. He is a below average dresser (same 3-4 suits every week), a terrible cook and has the love handles to show for it. He is a car guy more than a manager and nobody deserves a deal. He tolerates the sales guy because he fills the empty void in his life with some much needed noise. He is engaged in the conversation as much as he can be because he likes to push back and it’s probably the most interesting conversation he has had all week. Should be good with scripted dialogue and have comedic or improv skills.
