About the Job
Documentary-style storytelling project with No Kid Hungry. We're casting THREE San Francisco Bay Area families who are CURRENT SNAP / CalFresh users. (1) NUCLEAR FAMILY WITH KIDS — A working family with school-age children. (2) SINGLE DAD or GRANDFATHER-LED HOUSEHOLD — A household led by a single father OR a grandfather raising / co-raising children or grandchildren. (3) A family currently using SNAP while working toward greater financial stability (new job, school, small business, etc.). SNAP as a bridge. Universal requirements: - Currently using SNAP / CalFresh - Based in the SF Bay Area - Comfortable being filmed at home - Willing to share their story SHOOT: June 17, 18, and 19, 2026 COMPENSATION: $500 per family, paid by production, separate from SNAP benefits (won't affect them).
