About the Job
Flawless, lethal, and utterly unhinged beneath an immaculate veneer — Vanessa is Dom's ex-wife and the series' primary villain. She arrives at Chloe's wedding with an agenda that has nothing to do with celebration. Vanessa is calculating in the extreme: she sabotages a lifeguard to engineer a riptide, orchestrates a kidnapping, and holds Aria at knifepoint while demanding a $100 million wire transfer from Dom. She weaponizes her relationship with Chloe to get closer to Dom, and her manipulations unravel in a basement at the hands of Dom's security team. She is not played as a caricature — the scariest thing about Vanessa is how composed she remains even while committing acts of escalating violence. Approximately 20 scenes. NOTE: Graphic violence including choking, attempted drowning, knifepoint hostage scenario, and physical assault. Requires comfort with intensity across the full range. This is a demanding villain role.
