Calm, patient, good natured. Seeking an actress to be my scene partner for a Preliminary Audition for membership in the prestigious Actors Studio. Please be local to New York City. This is a 5-minute scene from the play "Death of a Salesman" between Willie and his wife, Linda. Note 1: Although you would not be considered for membership at this time, this will be the very valuable experience of working emotionally and moment-to-moment on a strong, contemporary classic. And having your work seen by the Actors Studio judges is very worthwhile. Note 2: This is not for the MFA program - this is for the original, 78-year-old Actors Studio. Note 3: I'll be directing the scene. Our Preliminary Audition for the Actors Studio will be held on a Saturday or Sunday in October 2026, at the Actors Studio on West 44th Street in Manhattan. Rehearsals starting around mid-August, also in Manhattan.
