He should have an everyday appearance representing a body type that may realistically be associated with Prediabetes risk. Looking for someone with a lovable, familiar face and natural charisma; the kind of person audiences instantly connect with and want to root for. He should feel authentic, grounded, and emotionally accessible rather than overly polished or model-like. His nervousness during his Best Man speech needs to feel real. Strong expressive abilities and subtle comedic or heartfelt instincts are a must. Good actors, good with dialogue in English and Spanish. / Director Notes: The Best Man is everything. He needs to be a genuinely strong actor who understands subtlety. Not a commercial guy who reads as "the token best man." Someone who feels like he comes from a film. His nervousness needs to be real. We should believe that on a different day, at a different wedding, he would have gotten through the speech just fine. Today just isn't his day.
