About the Job

Casting for the Natives of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, who interact with the Vikings in the 11th century. Evidence suggests these were the ancestors of the Beothuk and Inuit people. We cover Leif Eriksson's exploration of what would become known to the Vikings as Vinland. What starts out with peaceful trades between the Vikings and Natives, becomes violent when Leif's brother, Thorvald, leads an attack against the community, leading to a bloodbath between the two groups. Talent should be comfortable with stunts/stage combat, there will be a stunt coordinator on set. Please include reel or video work when submitting.
