Strength

Plot: A man starts seeing signs that he has a certain kind of elevated power. It scares him. He tries to keep it a secret. Then he hurts the woman he loves...drama and twists follow. background: This type of project/situation is a unique thing and I don't think a lot of creators are doing this so I will try and explain it. It is in the universe of Pitch Pairing. I occasionally work with a small production company who is trying to establish themselves as power players. I first became acquainted with the powers behind this production entity as a student at New York Film Academy many years ago. We have had a connection for a while and I have written several things for them as of late. One project I wrote (but sadly I have no say in any of it) was just picked up by studio with a popular actress as the lead! The beauty of this entity is they study the landscape of what's missing in the narrative media market. They approached me to write a project that (their words) was a middle ground between Black Lightning and Wonderman but MORE grounded. I came up with 'Strength'. I won't go into extreme details here but if interested submit. The project will be built around the lead character chosen? Pretty cool huh. Love the ability to create this way.
