About the Job

Olivier Levasseur, also known as the Buzzard, was a French pirate in the early 1700s. He came from a wealthy family and was well educated, cunning, and strategic. Levasseur began his work legally, working for France as a privateer–a mercenary of the seas who attacks and robs his country's enemies, targeting English, Dutch and Portuguese vessels. When France changes its policies, no longer employing privateers, Levasseur becomes a pirate. He is eventually caught and hanged for piracy. Please see reference pictures– looking for a typical pirate look. Facial hair preferred. An ability to speak French or with a French dialect is a bonus. *Please include reel or video work*
