Miss Bellas Musical Orlando Fringe Festival
Miss Bellas follows a global icon at the height of her fame and power in a near-future aristocratic dystopia. She lives and performs inside the Wall, an elite haven far removed from the world she once knew. Each year she hosts a lavish “Give Back” gala, a spectacle of philanthropy masking something far less generous featuring surprise appearances by fellow Fringe artists. As unrest grows beyond the Wall, her loyal assistant is pressured to make her a symbol of revolution. Torn between memory and survival, they must decide whether Miss Bellas is worth saving or sacrificing. Blending a bilingual English/Spanish script with live music and projection design, this 60-minute original musical explores performative allyship, class division, cultural identity, and the cost of forgetting where you came from.
