The Young Coach (non union version)
****read the whole post so that you can get a vibe of the actual commitment and work ethic that I am looking for in this project..Mention that you read it*** Plot: Elijah is a young coach who suffers a huge loss when he decides to bench his erratic star player Aaron. The team goes on to lose and Aaron takes the fill blame. Aaron takes his own life. His father places the blame on Elijah and Background: During the final weeks that led up to the OSCARS, I attended several Academy Awards related events. Something that I normally shy away from fo good reason that I won't waste your time writing here. However I had to attend the 2026 multitude of OSCAR events because something that I had envisioned for almost two decades was blazing front and center. That was the worldwide focus on a firestorm duo who rose from two similar urban areas to the top of Hollywood. There was no ceiling higher than where these dynamos sat in the entertainment industry. They can and WILL do more damage, but 13 years into their friendship, Coogler and Jordan have reached the highest of heights in Tinseltown. So I had to be in the rooms and breathe in this history. I was like a proud dad who had pitched this idea for two decades to dozens of actors who really didn't get the possibilities. Obviously that wasn't the only thing I was doing: I was creating, shooting short films, pitching, investigating, doing large shows for 1000s and 1000s of audiences and just enjoying life.. However in the center of my head, I was hoping to find an actor to carry the weight of these endless stories that originated in me on a daily basis. I have auditioned over 300 thousand actors since I was a kid in 1996 (Probably a hell of a lot more considering last week alone I auditioned over 1200 potentials and held 4 meetings in Hollywood). In that 300k number there were three that I officially committed to a duo partnership. At the end of the day they didn't really believe in the possibility and they showed that through the lack of attention.

Superstar vibe. Charismatic. Able to break down every moment of a script. Good with emotional transitions. When the camera lingers on their face, the emotion is clear. I need a strong, dramatic talent. I have written many emotional spaces for this character. He wanted to be a star player himself bu... [See More]
