This role plays the husband/father who enters the family's brand new home. Includes entering a home, satisfaction with their new surroundings, settling into couch with wife and family. **** Open on the emotional payoff — the human result of everything the homebuilding industry does. The audience doesn’t yet know how the family got here. VISUAL DIRECTION - A front door. Afternoon light cutting across the threshold. A key in a lock. - The door swings open. School-age child bolts through first, sneakers squeaking on new floors, arms out, claiming the space with their whole body. - The couple follows — grinning, slightly breathless, squeezing hands. They pause just inside the entry, looking up at the ceilings, at the light, at the room.
