About the Job

We are casting for a Jōmon fisherman in 1300 BCE. The Jōmon people lived in Japan from approximately 14,000 BCE to 300 BCE and used nets to fish. *An ability to throw a cast net is a huge bonus* We are covering historical events and theories surrounding the discovery of a skeleton found at an archaeological dig site in Tsumoko, Japan that is possibly one of the oldest skeletons/victim of a shark attack. The Fisherman is the victim– we explore the possibility that he is killed by a shark, as well as theories that he is murdered or killed by accident. *Must be comfortable filming in and near water* *Must be comfortable with filming gory/violent content* Please include a reel or video work with your submission.
