Lunatic - Samuel Little - True Life Drama Feature

Feature Film Non Union
Los Angeles
Synopsis:

TRUE LIFE DRAMA After the arrest of Samuel Little, one of the most prolific serial killers in American history, a Texas Ranger is tasked with an urgent mission: uncover the truth behind dozens of unsolved murders before the aging killer dies. Inside a stark interrogation room, what begins as a routine interview evolves into a tense psychological duel. Samuel, physically weakened but mentally sharp, reveals fragments of his past on his own terms; testing the Ranger, withholding details, and relishing control over the narrative. As Samuel begins to confess, the film moves between present-day interrogations and haunting flashbacks to his younger years. We witness how he navigated the fringes of American society: bars, highways, and forgotten towns; blending in while methodically hunting his victims. Each memory reveals not only the brutality of his crimes, but the chilling simplicity of how he remained invisible for decades. The Ranger must piece together truth from manipulation, racing against time to extract as many confessions as possible. But the deeper he goes, the more he realizes that understanding Samuel Little is not just about solving crimes, it’s about confronting the disturbing reality of how evil can exist undetected in plain sight. In the end, the film becomes a haunting portrait of a man, a system that failed to stop him, and the fragile line between truth and control in the mind of a killer.
