Like It Or Not

he Age of AI is here. Information flows freely and instantly, bots, agents, and automation tools increase efficiency and productivity of nearly every profession, and a world untold possibilities just fell in our laps. But not everyone is ready for this kind of change. Some folks are dead-set on keeping things the way they were—a time when things were simpler and we worked with our hands. When we were ‘proud to commit to an honest days work.’ Meet Chuck. A security professional from legacy’s golden age, attempting to fit in to a world making increasingly less sense. (To him at least.) “The Age of AI” (Reels/Stories) We open on a sweet, harmless-looking elderly IT pro in an office, sitting at his desk sipping bad coffee. He’s got a pile of legacy equipment messily stacked up on his desk, along with other office accoutrement he couldn’t let go of through the years. A few DVRs, a stack of VHS tapes, some tangled up cables, a typewriter, an actual telephone. Unified Timeline We vaguely make out a colleague sitting behind him.. CHUCK: Everyone’s obsessed with AI now. Faster this. Smarter that. Back in my day, a good investigation took hours. He starts fondly waxing on about the good old days, while he sits amongst his heap of old tech, patting a stack of DVRs lovingly. All the scrubbing... matching timestamps… manual stitching… He leans in to emphasize his seriousness. It was an honest days work! He leans back in his chair concedingly. CHUCK: Now everyone wants answers in seconds. Where’s the romance in that? (shrugs) SFX: A notification ping rudely interrupts his monolog.. We rack focus from him to the coworker sitting behind him as he looks over his shoulder. We see he’s on his PC, timeline open. DUDE: Whoa. CHUCK: Whoa, what? We go full screen UI to see Unified Timeline animating an incident of a dude stealing a giant box of toilet paper from an interior hallway, running off. DUDE: Just found the perp. AI stitched it all together, in seconds. (Every sighting, from every camera, the whole story.) We cut back to Chuck dismissively responding to the wasted opportunity for an interesting day. CHUCK: (Dismissively) Pffft. Seconds? SUPER: AI-Powered Unified Timeline Faster investigations. Like it or not.
