About the Job
The Lying King. The devil himself — and he's enjoying every minute. Magnetic, terrifying, alluring in a ruined way. Runs the (LADD), a comedic demon police department, like a corrupt precinct captain. Jazz and hip-hop-inflected, dangerously charismatic. He's funny until he's not. His demons fear him. His overreactions reveal deep insecurity — his empire isn't as solid as he claims. Must command the stage with dark charisma and shift seamlessly between dark comedy and genuine menace. Interacts directly with the audience. MUST be a strong standout singer. Tenor/Baritone: Strong belt/mix. Soul/Musical Theater/Hip-hop. Must handle up-tempo hip hop & jazz-driven numbers. Must command the stage and have a commanding voice & presence. Dancer preferred, but at least comfortable with movement.
