Evan, a quiet and overlooked data analyst, arrives for what he believes is a routine exit interview after years of feeling invisible in both his career and personal life. Trapped inside a dim, windowless conference room, he is met by a calm and composed Interviewer who begins with standard questions—but quickly shifts into something far more personal. As the conversation deepens, Evan is forced to confront the truth he has long avoided: his isolation, unresolved grief over his mother’s death, financial pressure, and the growing belief that his life holds no real value. The Interviewer, precise and unsettlingly perceptive, peels back each layer of Evan’s defenses, turning the interview into a psychological confrontation. With no escape from the room or the questions, Evan reaches a breaking point—admitting thoughts he has never spoken aloud. But in the silence that follows, something begins to shift. The conversation becomes not just an interrogation, but a moment of recognition—forcing Evan to reconsider whether his story is truly over. Under Review is a minimalist psychological drama that explores loneliness, mental health, and the quiet struggle to find meaning in a world where it’s easy to feel unseen.
