Synopsis:

The story follows Kelly, a fragile Omega who needs to find her mate in order to survive. Only her true mate can provide the life force that heals and sustains her. When she meets Max, a powerful Alpha, she unexpectedly discovers that she can draw energy from him. Believing he may be the key to saving her life, Kelly begins finding ways to get closer to Max. During this process, she discovers that he has a young son, and through a series of circumstances she ends up moving into Max’s house as the boy’s tutor. As she spends more time with them, Kelly slowly becomes attached to the family and grows closer to Max, without realizing that she has actually fallen in love with him and the life they are building together. However, after an intimate moment, Kelly discovers a devastating truth: while Max’s energy heals her, it is also slowly draining his life. If their bond continues, Max will eventually die. Determined to save him, Kelly makes the painful decision to leave him. Later, Kelly is kidnapped and nearly killed. When Max finds her, he chooses to transfer his own life energy to save her, risking his own life without hesitation. Moved by their willingness to sacrifice everything for each other, the Moon Goddess intervenes. Both of them survive, and their true mate bond finally awakens.
