About the Job

A young boy with an interest in the arts, especially ballet, which grows as he ages. He has a loving relationship with his mother. He struggles fitting in at school due to his interests. He finds a home in the ballet studio, where he is able to fit in and feel successful. He has a strained relationship with his father, who does not support his choice of hobby. As J approaches his early teens, he begins to realize his attraction to other boys. He develops an especially friendly relationship with his ballet classmate, Ian -- a relationship that drives the ultimate wedge between J and his father. Ideally, this actor has dance experience.
