About the Job

Sam (15-17 years old). Sam is quiet, creative and sentimental. Sam misses his brother and is resistant to accept the reality of living without him. Sam has grown up in a small town and has always been known as Oli’s little brother, and his absence has left Sam feeling lost. Sam has grown accustomed to living with Oli in his dreams, because deep down he isn’t ready to let go of Oli’s memory. Sam’s family moving away from their hometown after Oli’s death puts Sam in a position where for the first time in his life, no one will know who he is or who his brother was – and he doesn’t know the answer to that either. Living out their last adventure, Sam wants to preserve both his childhood and Oli’s memory in their fantastical dreamland before needing to step into a new and unfamiliar chapter of his life.
