About the Job
A warm, creative “local artisan” who brings the spirit of Olvera Street to life through art, culture, and community. This character guides Meekah, Blippi, and the Mini Movers in designing and building a festival centerpiece using hands-on activities like papel picado, mosaics, and decorative elements. Must be engaging with kids, able to explain artistic concepts simply (patterns, shapes, color, and design), and encourage teamwork, patience, and creativity. Strong improvisation skills and on-camera presence required, with the ability to lead interactive, games while maintaining a playful, welcoming tone. Should feel authentic to the cultural setting and genuinely passionate about art and community celebration. Someone with ties to the artist community or an art background would be ideal.
