Project Details

Must be a genuine cat owner (or co-owner / primary caregiver) of the cat they submit with. Must be comfortable on a photography set with lighting equipment (no strobes, but continuous/constant lights will be in use) Must be able to bring their cat to the shoot location and be responsible for the cat’s safety and comfort on set. Must be able to follow direction from the photographer and creative team. Must be willing to sign model and pet release forms prior to shoot day. We are seeking 12 cats (with their owners) representing a wide variety of breeds. Mixed-breed or “domestic” cats are also welcome, especially if they have a distinctive look. The priority is visual variety across the calendar. On-Set Temperament Requirements: This is a critical requirement. Cats that cannot meet these standards will not be suitable for this production regardless of breed or appearance. • Cat must be comfortable being handled by their owner in an unfamiliar environment • Cat must be able to remain reasonably calm under continuous photography lighting (no strobes — lights will be steady and constant) • Cat must tolerate moderate ambient noise (crew conversation, equipment movement, camera shutters) • Cat must not be prone to panic-fleeing or extreme aggression when stressed • Cat must be up to date on vaccinations and free of contagious conditions on shoot day • Cat must be comfortable in a carrier for transport Helpful Cat Traits (Not Required)• Naturally curious or calm demeanor on camera • Trained to respond to their owner’s cues or commands • Experience in public or around strangers • Photogenic coloring, coat texture, or facial features that photograph well Cat Exclusions • Cats with a history of unpredictable aggression toward strangers • Cats that are heavily sedative-dependent for transport or handling • Cats in active medical treatment that may cause distress on set If chosen: Please note: Vaccination records summary (will be required on shoot day; may request documentation in advance) And you will need to bring the following to set: • Cat in a secure carrier • Cat’s favorite toys, blanket, or comfort item • Cat treats and any preferred food • Vaccination records • Government-issued ID for talent paperwork • Any specific outfit pieces discussed with the stylist in advance Thank you!
