About the Job
Dean is a writer who is secretly ashamed of the work he creates. He's found a strange sort of success in his dream job, where he's somehow not being creative in a creative industry. As a person, he's submissive, closed-mouthed, and not horribly quick on his feet. He can be outspoken in welcoming spaces, but when embarrassed or victimized, he quickly shuts down. Deep down, he does want to have meaning in his work, and his purpose in life; he just hasn't had the opportunity to do so yet.
