About the Job
This casting is for people with macular conditions and other eye issues that result in Central Vision Loss—when the center of what you’re looking at becomes blurry, distorted, or missing while your peripheral vision stays relatively clear. Central Vision Loss can be caused by Macular Degeneration (Wet or Dry AMD), Diabetic Retinopathy, Stargardt Disease, Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSC), and other macular‑related diagnoses. If any of the following describe your experience: - You have a central blind spot in one or both eyes - You need to turn your head or look slightly away to see more clearly - Reading a website feels frustrating, slow, or tiring We want to hear from you. If booked for this project, a background check may be done with your authorization for legal reasons. A copy will be provided if requested. For legal purposes, a licensed Medical professional may correspond with your Health Care provider to verify your central vision loss and any diagnosis regarding this condition.
