Strategy: Vertical Superstar

Vision: Creating quick, to the point stories with a zillion cliffhangers is right up my alley. I love telling stories that organically lead to a flurry of twists and turns. I'm testing out the Vertical phase in a big way. Pitch to the actor (using a popular Actor/Director duo as an example: Thousands of film students graduate from film, production or Entertainment and Arts courses every semester. Hundreds by Hundreds of talent comes to LA, NY and Atlanta every year seeking fame. With those numbers in the back of your head, tell me why there is only one entity currently in this business breaking down major A list walls in the form of Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan? I will tell you why. Most of the talent seeking fame in the 2020s are in it for the sheen and the money over the art of it all. Most are from 'the look at me' era...When you see someone that is truly about the art, they look like Timothee Chalamet, Leonardo Dicaprio and Michael B Jordan. Guess what? the Sheen, the 'look at me' and the money comes along with their success! Personally I have reached out to several actors and ultimately said 'Let's break down walls as an actor/director duo..there is something about you that is worldwide and I want to expand on it'. Even though a few took me up on that offer..i think the failure of these possibilities lies in those subjects not TRULY believing in the possibilities. I mean think about it, if someone says they are going to write your career into the stratosphere. Write you into 5 Smash worldwide hits. Elevate your profile where you will be able to direct a major motion picture that you star in. Write you in as a villain in a Marvel smash and then turn around and sum it up with you starring as twins in a movie that receives more Oscar nods than any other film in history, what would you do? Do you work at making that happen or would you turn down the opportunity and prefer to struggle and work several jobs to make ends meet over the next few years? Well Ryan had no way of predicting the outcome of his endeavors but he knew he there was something about Michael and he told him that he was a superstar in their first meeting. The great thing for Ryan is that he had a subject who worked hard and appreciated the fact that someone believed in him. As a result Michael B is A list and all the fruits that goes along with it.... Plot: A man has a date that goes terribly bad with Deception, Murder and Chaos all playing into the festivities. Its a twist filled WTF ride. I need a future SUPERSTAR to deliver...
