About the Job
Male, 60-70s, White, rural southern Walter is practical, direct, and a little more reactive than Earnest. He thinks he’s right most of the time – and doesn’t mind saying so – but he’s not cruel. He’s lived-in, weathered, a veteran. His temper is subtle – a tightening of the jaw, a grip on the steering wheel. Like Earnest, his affection comes sideways.
