Project Details

We are producing a short documentary-style media piece focused on the real cost of commuting in Los Angeles for working film and television professionals. We are seeking one actor who lives in central Los Angeles and are open to being featured on camera as themselves. This is not a scripted role as it is intended to run on local news media. We are looking for real working professionals who are comfortable sharing their authentic experience about commuting in LA and are able to ride an e-bike for a few days to give feedback on the experience. The piece will focus on: • The economics of working in the industry • Transportation and commuting realities • How location impacts day-to-day life as a working actor Filming will be light-touch and respectful of your time. Expect approximately two days total commitment with about 4-5 hours filming. Requirements • Currently working actor • Based in central Los Angeles (Hollywood, Koreatown, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Mid-City, etc.) • Comfortable speaking on camera as yourself • Available for a half-day to full day shoot (date March 11 or 12) This is an independent, documentary-style feature and not a union production.
