Claim is a period psychological thriller short film. Taking place in 1901, it follows an ailing old man who leads his recently recruited Mexican laborer to an abandoned mine which he worked in the Gold Rush of ‘49. With plenty of unspoken secrets and promises of treasure to cover them, the two men attempt to discern each other’s intent as the elder comes to face his past; and the curse in the depths of the mine.
