Synopsis:

HOOTER is a dramatic proof-of-concept centered on Daniel, a gifted boy whose artistic brilliance becomes both his shield and his vulnerability. Set inside a mirrored dance studio, Daniel confesses his desire to shrink himself as his mentor, Syd, refuses to let him abandon the very thing that saves him. In a quiet exchange about shame, identity, and survival, Daniel is reminded that what makes him different may also be what carries him forward.

• SAG-AFTRA Student Film Agreement • Two-actor cast • One-day shoot (March 2026 – exact date TBD upon SAG clearance) • Interior location – Los Angeles (dance studio) • Minimal crew (Director, DP, Producer support) • Performance-driven dramatic scene Rehearsals and filming will occur only after official SAG clearance. No work will take place prior to union approval.
