About the Job
PAUL Black Man in his mid-to-late thirties. Performing as a Community Violence Intervention (CVI) professional, who is based in the hospital and supports survivors of gun violence through their recovery. Because he is working directly with a victim of violence, his bedside manner is key. He should be able to convey warmth, trust, empathy, and wisdom as he communicates, while using his skills to resolve the issue and support the young community member. Ultimately, this will culminate in preventing retaliation through active support.
