This man should feel like an authentic real farmer. A hardworking man. He has the natural stoicism of a farmer who's been doing this his whole life - or he could also be the son that grew up on the farm and has worked it in order to take it over - maybe calloused hands, but we do not want him to be too rough around the edges to the point of stereotype. Looking for authenticity and honesty, not overly polished or performative in any way.
