Synopsis:

When her mother is violently abducted by an ICE raid, a 15-year-old girl must be mother to her young siblings as she is forced to step into her mother’s place, not by choice, but by necessity.

Project Notes

Recent CSUN Senior Film Thesis films have screened in Cannes, won DGA Student Film Awards, and been semi- finalists in the Student Academy Awards and BAFTA Student Film Awards. Funding for the program is supported by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and directing mentors include legends like Donald Petrie and Robert Townsend. Selected projects have the distinction of being ‘ The ARRI Project’ and awarded use of a professional ARRI Alexa/ Amira camera, equipment, and ASC Cinematography mentor.
