After seeing photos of Sasha’s past abuse, Irina violently confronts them. Their parents try to intervene, only to kneel in fear when they recognise Irina’s true power. Finally, the sisters’ abusive father, Ivan, reappears, trying to extort money. Irina reveals herself as the Mafia Queen and exiles him to a life of hard labour. Having secured Sasha’s future with Dmitri’s protection, Irina embraces her public role as New York’s underworld ruler, ensuring no one will ever harm her sister again.
